Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and SinghStack Inc. ("SinghStack", "we", "us", or "our"), the company that develops and operates the KonnecTo platform and all associated products and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform in any capacity — whether as an individual user, an organisation administrator, or a trial user — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform in any manner. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation or legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and all references to "you" shall include that entity.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • "Platform" means KonnecTo, Konnec.To, and all associated software, applications, interfaces, APIs, and services operated by SinghStack Inc., accessible via any subdomain of konnec.to or any other domain operated by SinghStack Inc.
  • "Services" means all features, functionality, integrations, and capabilities made available to you under your subscription plan, including communication tools, workspace management, events, channels, and any other modules offered now or in the future.
  • "Content" means any data, text, images, files, links, messages, posts, or other material that you or other users upload, submit, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Platform.
  • "User" means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including workspace administrators, members, guests, and visitors.
  • "Workspace" means an isolated organisational instance of the Platform created and managed by a workspace administrator on behalf of an organisation.
  • "Shared Infrastructure" means deployment configurations where computing, storage, and networking resources are shared across multiple Workspaces, as distinct from dedicated or Enterprise deployments.
  • "SinghStack Team" means SinghStack Inc. and all of its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Platform is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly permit users under 18 to create accounts.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated at all times. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify SinghStack immediately at support@konnec.to upon becoming aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. SinghStack is not liable for any loss, damage, or liability arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials or from unauthorised access to your account.

SinghStack reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any account registration at its sole discretion, including where it suspects the registration information is inaccurate, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely and exclusively responsible for all Content you upload, post, transmit, share, or otherwise make available through the Platform, and for all actions taken under your account. SinghStack does not and cannot pre-screen Content and does not assume any responsibility or liability for any Content submitted by any User, including Content that may be defamatory, offensive, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable.

You warrant that all Content you contribute: (a) does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; (b) does not violate any applicable law or regulation; (c) is not false, misleading, or fraudulent; and (d) does not contain viruses, malware, or any other harmful code. You shall bear full responsibility for any consequences — legal, financial, reputational, or otherwise — arising from Content you submit or actions you take on the Platform.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not, and will not permit others to, use the Platform in any manner that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law, regulation, or treaty;
  • Infringes, misappropriates, or violates the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of SinghStack or any third party;
  • Involves the upload, transmission, or display of Content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Involves sending unsolicited commercial communications, spam, phishing attempts, or any form of unauthorised bulk messaging;
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any related systems, networks, or accounts;
  • Involves reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the Platform or any component thereof;
  • Systematically extracts, scrapes, or copies any data, Content, or information from the Platform by automated means without SinghStack's prior written consent;
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely represents your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation;
  • Interferes with, disrupts, or attempts to disable the Platform or any server, network, or system used to deliver the Platform;
  • Facilitates or encourages any other person to engage in any of the foregoing prohibited activities.

SinghStack reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and, at its sole discretion, to take appropriate action including removing Content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting matters to relevant law enforcement authorities. SinghStack accepts no liability for any Content or conduct of Users and expressly disclaims any obligation to police or monitor Content on the Platform.

6. Compliance with Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction and any jurisdiction from which you access the Platform. This includes, without limitation, data protection and privacy laws, employment laws, export control regulations, anti-spam legislation, consumer protection laws, intellectual property laws, and telecommunications regulations.

SinghStack expressly disclaims all responsibility for any unlawful use of the Platform by you or any User operating within your Workspace. You shall indemnify and hold SinghStack harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your non-compliance with applicable laws (see Section 14).

7. User Content — Ownership and Licence

You retain all ownership rights in and to the Content you submit to the Platform. By submitting Content, you grant SinghStack a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit such Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Services. This licence terminates when you delete your Content or close your account, except where retention is required by law or our data retention obligations.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to grant the above licence, and that your Content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party. SinghStack assumes no liability whatsoever for any Content submitted to the Platform and expressly disclaims any duty to review, moderate, or verify User Content.

8. Service Availability and Shared Infrastructure

SinghStack will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the Platform available at all times. However, the Platform is provided on a best-efforts basis and SinghStack does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available access. Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, security incidents, third-party infrastructure failures, or other circumstances beyond SinghStack's reasonable control may result in service interruption.

For Workspaces operating on Shared Infrastructure — that is, deployments that are not explicitly contracted as dedicated or Enterprise configurations — the following additional terms apply:

  • Performance characteristics including response times, throughput, message delivery speed, storage quotas, API rate limits, and feature availability may vary depending on aggregate platform usage, infrastructure load, and geographic factors. These metrics are not guaranteed to remain constant or to meet any specific threshold on a Shared Infrastructure deployment.
  • Resource allocations on Shared Infrastructure are managed dynamically by SinghStack to ensure a fair and consistent experience for all Users. SinghStack reserves the right to apply throttling, queuing, or other load-management measures to maintain overall platform health.
  • SinghStack will endeavour to provide service levels commensurate with your subscribed plan tier, and all plans are designed to offer a high-quality experience. However, plan entitlements represent SinghStack's good-faith commitment to resource allocation and do not constitute a contractual service-level guarantee on Shared Infrastructure.

Customers requiring contractually guaranteed uptime, dedicated infrastructure, custom resource allocations, or specific SLA terms should contact SinghStack to discuss an Enterprise or Custom deployment.

9. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Payment

Access to certain features and capabilities of the Platform requires a paid subscription. Applicable fees, billing cycles, and plan entitlements are as published on the Platform's pricing page at the time of subscription, or as agreed in a separate Order Form. All fees are stated exclusive of applicable taxes, which shall be your responsibility.

Subscription fees are billed in advance for the applicable period. All fees paid are non-refundable except where expressly required by applicable law or explicitly stated in writing by SinghStack. Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of your Workspace. SinghStack is not liable for any data loss or service disruption resulting from suspension or termination for non-payment.

You authorise SinghStack to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and current billing information.

10. Modifications to Services, Features, Tiers, and Pricing

SinghStack reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to:

  • Add, modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any feature, integration, module, or component of the Platform or Services;
  • Adjust the entitlements, resource quotas, limits, and capabilities associated with any subscription tier, including both free and paid plans;
  • Revise pricing for any subscription tier, with or without advance notice for free-plan changes, and with reasonable notice for paid-plan changes;
  • Restructure, rename, combine, or replace subscription tiers in order to maintain a sustainable, well-resourced, and continuously improving service.

Where changes are material and affect paid subscriptions, SinghStack will endeavour to provide at least 30 days' advance notice via the Platform or the registered account email address. Your continued use of the Platform following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the change. If you do not accept a material change to a paid plan, your sole remedy is to terminate your subscription before the change takes effect.

11. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all software, interfaces, designs, graphics, documentation, trademarks, trade names, logos, and branding (including "KonnecTo", "Konnec.To", and related marks), are the exclusive intellectual property of SinghStack Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws worldwide.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in SinghStack's intellectual property except for the limited licence to use the Platform as expressly set out herein. You may not reproduce, copy, adapt, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise exploit any part of the Platform without SinghStack's prior written consent.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS"AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. SINGHSTACK INC. AND THE SINGHSTACK TEAM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
  • WARRANTIES THAT DEFECTS OR ERRORS IN THE PLATFORM WILL BE CORRECTED;
  • WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR QUALITY OF ANY CONTENT, INFORMATION, OR RESULTS OBTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM;
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE PLATFORM WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS.

NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY SINGHSTACK OR ITS REPRESENTATIVES SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SINGHSTACK INC., ITS AFFILIATES, AND EACH MEMBER OF THE SINGHSTACK TEAM (INCLUDING OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS, INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR:

  • ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR AGGRAVATED DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY;
  • LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED IN ADVANCE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES;
  • ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA OR TRANSMISSIONS;
  • ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF THIRD PARTIES OR OTHER USERS ON THE PLATFORM;
  • ANY FAILURE, INTERRUPTION, OR DEGRADATION OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY SHARED INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE.

SINGHSTACK'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO SINGHSTACK IN THE THREE (3) CALENDAR MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) USD 100.

THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY, INCLUDING CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend (at SinghStack's option), and hold harmless SinghStack Inc. and each member of the SinghStack Team from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and disbursements) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your access to or use of the Platform;
  • Any Content you upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Platform;
  • Your breach or alleged breach of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
  • Any act or omission by any user accessing the Platform through your Workspace or under your account credentials.

SinghStack reserves the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. You agree to cooperate fully with SinghStack's defence of such claims.

15. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Platform may interoperate with, link to, or integrate third-party products, services, or websites that are not owned or controlled by SinghStack. SinghStack does not endorse, control, or assume any responsibility for any third-party service, its content, availability, accuracy, or its terms and policies. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and is governed solely by the terms and privacy policies of that third party.

16. Termination and Suspension

SinghStack reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, at its sole discretion, if SinghStack reasonably believes that you have breached these Terms, engaged in conduct that poses a risk to other Users or the Platform, or failed to fulfil payment obligations. Suspension or termination does not entitle you to any refund of pre-paid fees except where required by applicable law.

You may terminate your account at any time by following the account closure process within the Platform. Upon termination for any reason: (a) all licences granted to you under these Terms shall immediately cease; (b) you will lose access to your Workspace and all associated Content; and (c) SinghStack may delete your data in accordance with its data retention policies. You are solely responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain prior to termination. SinghStack is not liable for any loss of data resulting from account termination.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.

You agree that any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, through the courts of competent jurisdiction located in India. You hereby irrevocably waive any objection to the jurisdiction of such courts and any claim that proceedings have been brought in an inconvenient forum.

18. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Order Form or supplemental terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and SinghStack with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations, and representations.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

No Waiver. SinghStack's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of SinghStack.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without SinghStack's prior written consent. SinghStack may freely assign these Terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Updates to These Terms. SinghStack may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or your registered email address where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Platform following any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
